She/Her

After twenty years of working in public health and development, I decided to change careers and concentrate on personal health and development. This change was prompted by a series of high-stress jobs and the death of my husband. I felt overwhelmed.

I felt compelled to make changes in my life, so following my intuition, I quit my job and moved to Santa Fe, NM to start massage school. I arrived in Santa Fe in August of 2006 and started the dual program for massage and polarity therapy at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts. A few months after that program was over, I started the foundation course for biodynamic craniosacral therapy and additional courses in polarity therapy at the Colorado School of Energy Studies in Boulder, Colorado.

My intention is that through bodywork I can support women who are feeling overwhelmed. I want to provide the support I needed and wanted when I was feeling that way. At the time I was not able to receive some of the support that was offered to me; it has been a journey to learn to receive. However, had I received more support, I might not have had to change careers and move to a different country in order to find the peace that allowed me to develop and grow as a person.
